Directions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until soft. Sprinkle with sugar and continue cooking until caramelised.
- Grill or pan-fry the Bratwurst until cooked through and browned.
- Serve the Bratwurst over the mashed potatoes, topped with caramelised onions. Garnish with fresh parsley.

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
