Directions

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until soft. Sprinkle with sugar and continue cooking until caramelised.
  • Grill or pan-fry the Bratwurst until cooked through and browned.
  • Serve the Bratwurst over the mashed potatoes, topped with caramelised onions. Garnish with fresh parsley.

  • Fresh parsley for garnish​
